From its origin, Centro Universitario Villanueva has established a growing number of international academic agreements with different universities outside of Spain, thus enabling our alumni to study abroad through different exchange programmes.
EBS
EBS Madrid is a member of the European Business Schools International group (EBSI), an international association of International Business Administration and Management schools with base and affiliated centers in Europe and the United States.
EBS Madrid belongs to the Law and Business area of Centro Universitario Villanueva and is the only center currently offering EBS studies in International Business Administration and Management in Spain.
At the beginning of their university studies, EBS Madrid alumni choose two languages between English, French and German. Their language choice determines the place where they will do both terms either in the Third or in the Sixth year of their degree, (in case they study the EBS programme and the Law and Media courses simultaneously). Students are therefore obliged to study one term in London, Dublin or New York, and another in Paris or Munich.
This programme is designed for international students from universities outside the European Business School group who wish to perfect their level of Spanish and study different aspects -cultural, social, artistic, economic- of the Spanish and European reality in depth.
The courses take place in an international university environment, with students from different countries (Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, United Kingdom, Russia, among others) as well as Spanish students.
Although learning the Spanish language and culture are the main goals of our programmes, Villanueva offers the possibility to acquire the language while studying topics of special interest to the student and focusing on the professional world of his/her specialization: Business, Art, Law, Media and Fashion.
Erasmus
The European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students provides two interesting exchange options for university students:
- Transfer of Credits or Academic Stay. This option involves studying at a higher education center in another European country for a period of time, with the possibility of validating the credits obtained for subjects studied at Villanueva
- Internships with Companies. This option involves a internship period in a company or organization based in another European country. The companies are either chosen and contacted by the student directly or through the Department of Internships and Professional Orientation at Villanueva
At present, Villanueva promotes an active exchange of students with Europe, America and Africa.
